Christ International Dominion Prayer Assembly

The Christ International Dominion Prayer Assembly hereafter called CIDPA started in the year of the LORD 2007 as a house fellowship in a room of Elder Adewuyi’s house at Oladunni Street, Ketu, Lagos State, Nigeria.

In view of the steady but steep growth spiritually and numerically, the room became inadequate and necessitated renting a hall. This started in January 2008 and the name DOMINION PRAYER PARTNERS FELLOWSHIP (DPPF) was adopted at Badewa Hall, Ketu, Lagos State. The main program then was a morning service tagged “WEEP NO MORE” held every other Friday; this was followed by bi-weekly vigils.

The fellowship grew wide and far to become a congregation with the selfless services of members such as Baba and Mrs. Ogundipe, Mrs. Ekaete, Ms. Imisioluwa (Nee Mebawondu), Mr. Seyi Temitope (Baba Ore), Mr. Tayo Adesoji, Kunle Omoniyi and Aunty Yomi to mention but a few. Thereafter, the Church relocated to 2, Oladehinde Street, Ketu, Lagos where the first service was held on September 14, 2008. The name transformed to DOMINION PRAYER PARTNERS MINISTRY (DPPM) due to the growth in 2009.

In one of the Youth Revival coordinated by Papa, the then youth coordinator, a prophecy came from the Revivalist – Pastor Kenny that INTERNATIONAL should be added to the name of the Church while DOMINION was also revealed to Prophet Elijah Ariyo as the main name. Therefore, the need for registration arose and three names were presented while “Christ International Dominion Prayer Assembly – CIDPA” was approved by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria as an affiliate of Christ Apostolic Church in 2010.
